Is that in the US? Isn't the rarest of them all (in the US) the bog-standard Megane he has for some reason?

That's a lot of old iron. Most of which we can't get here in US America. Thanks for posting.

Saw one of these the other day. I regret not taking a picture of it. Crazy collection though! Good find.

It appears to be. In which case, that may well be the only Megane in the country.
205 GTIs are pretty rare too, but a few of them have been brought in, and Le Cars are nearly extinct by now.

it should be illegal to own so many cool cars and let them gather dust and mold amongst other things

I cannot comprehend this. A fine collection (?), by all means, but I'm quite disappointed in the amount of worn out duplicates and apparent non-runners. I think every single one of these needs a little bit more wrenching time to get them back on the asphalt, or sold to someone who may appreciate it a bit more.
That being said, he/she has impeccable taste.

Believe me, I'm going to see if there's anything I can do to get these to move.
![]() 01/25/2015 at 17:43 |

Sure, but the Megane's really weird. Why on earth would one have been imported? It's not desirable or road-legal.

Do we have the guy's name so I know who I should be praying to robbing now?

God damn, whats the story on this guy?
![]() 01/25/2015 at 17:48 |

it defiantly is. the hood is all wrong, and the is missing vents and the holes for the fog lamps. For a moment I forgot kit cars exist lol

I've been there! Went to get parts for my E24. The guy is pretty cool.

Yeah I am a Z guy, that looks like the quality and size. Its sure as hell not a Ferrari and the #1 car for the kits was a Z. Hopefully a 280Z not a 240.

Oh mama. Gold Montreal 4th from the bottom. So much awesome. Oh I see it up further, started at the bottom.

Gah, I need to talk with him. Although I've heard there's no chance of him doing anything with them.

I'm pretty sure that there's even a Ferrari 308 GT4 hiding in front of the Sport Spider.
Pretty interesting stash. I hope he is willing to sell some cars.

It made me look at least twice, so then I googled it and saw that 240Z replicas are a thing :)

Why are so many of them not being driven?? Somebody needs to rescue them. Shit, I'd work on all of them for free just to be around the awesomeness.

It always boggles my mind how somebody can keep a car wasting and rotting in their garage/house/wherever it is. It would probably consume myself just seeing it there and not doing anything, never mind having SO MANY awesome cars, rotting and dirty.
What a shame, somebody should convince the man to auction most of the cars and restore a few with the earned money. it would be kind of a win/win situation.

Ha, don’t know how I missed that. I’m even in one of the photos.
Yes, this backyard is somewhere in the LA area. No, he doesn’t drive the ones in the back and no he has on desire to sell (we’ve asked... more than once).
We got parts for our LeMons 6-Series, those were pretty much the only parts he was selling oddly enough. He’s an interesting guy who goes by the name Jack.
One of his Le Cars was the Dude Where’s My Car... uh, car.

Believe it or not, I found all of that out, and even went back to chat!
My friend (who has a 205 GTI) had a ton of info. He said he used to bring an R5 Turbo to the best of France and Italy annual show, but got sick of people asking him to sell his cars, so he stopped going. The Lotus 340R was what originally caught my eye on the way to a friend’s. Did you see my other post on this?
